Mr Mannan has a thriving practice, being instructed by solicitors and under direct access, primarily in Family (representing both husbands and wives, in divorce matters, contact applications, financial order applications); Employment(representing both employers and employees, in unfair dismissal, race and disability discrimination claims); Immigration and Asylum matters.

He regularly appears in courts and tribunals at various levels.

Mr Mannan has also assisted and represented clients in complex international Arbitration matters.

His fees are flexible. He is able to offer legal services under a fixed fee model. Instructing solicitors and members of the public are welcome to discuss his fees with the clerks or directly with him before instructing him.

Mr Mannan practises from the Temple and remotely.

In 2003 Charles became a pupil supervisor.
